Class Schedule

As of April 1, 2009

Lil' Dragons

The Little Dragons course is designed specifically for children 3-5 years old. These classes are designed not as serious martial arts training, but to teach students the foundation of martial arts principles. The core goals of the class will be to develop discipline, respect, and coordination necessary for not only martial arts training later but for any activity that the child might choose to do. Little Dragons do not receive ranks, instead they receive patches for goals that are accomplished, there are twelve patches that a Little Dragon student can attain: Discipline, Respect, Listen, Attention, Balance, Exercises, Stretches, Stances, Punches, Kicks, Blocks, and Combos.

Beginner Juniors

Separating the beginners into their own class allows for us to be more focused on the development of basics to ensure that the students will have a firm foundation to build on. This also allows us to have a more age appropriate class. Students may start in this class as early as 6 years old.

Advanced Juniors

The more advanced juniors are able to cover more material in each class. Having their class seperate allows for focus on the more advanced material and more opportunity to expand beyond the standard curriculum of training.

Adults

Adult's and teens above age 14 are seperated out from the younger students so that the training can be fully age appropriate. Adults and older teens generally have different goals and require different training methods from children, this class allows all students to train at full potential.

Sparring/Weapons

On alternating Fridays the class focus on sparring and weapons training. This gives the students an opportunity to learn and expannd skills that take more time to accomplish than is set aside during a regular class.
